AMU VC Meets UP CM Mr. Akhilesh Yadav, Urges Him To Recommend CBI Enquiry Into The Alamgir’s Murder Case
AMU Vice Chancellor, Lt. Gen. Zameer Uddin Shah has urged the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Mr. Akhilesh Yadav to recommend for a CBI enquiry into the murder of the BSW student of AMU, Alamgir on September 18 last.
The Union Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt of India has sanctioned for the establishment of the Centre for Academic Leadership and Educational Management (CALEM) at the UGC Human Resource Development Centre, Aligarh Muslim University with a non-recurring grant of Rs. 6 Crore and recurring grant of Rs. 1.4 Crore.

The Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University, Lt. Gen. Zameer Uddin Shah has urged all AMU alumni residing in Aligarh to participate in the upcoming Alumni Meet which is scheduled for two days on October 18-19, 2015.
Presiding over an assessment meeting regarding the Alumni Meet, Vice Chancellor, Lt. Gen. Shah has also called on the University staff members to extend hospitality at their house to at least one alumnus who is coming from outside to attend the grand union.
The Training and Placement Office (General), Aligarh Muslim University will organize a national level “H R Meet-2015” on October 4, 2015. The event will take place at the university’s Kennedy Hall Auditorium from 10: 45 am onwards.
The Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University, Lt. Gen. Zameer Uddin Shah today visited the Ahmadi school for Visually Challenged and inspected the extensive damage done by the hostel inmates of the school.
The Vice Chancellor said that it would take some time to carry repair work. He said that the school will remain closed until the repair work is completed.
The Department of Geography, Aligarh Muslim University with a sponsorship of Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi is organizing a 10 days Workshop on Research Methodology in Social Science. The workshop will take place from November 14 to November 24.
Registered social science Phd students of various Indian universities and research institutes will be participating in the workshop.
